Welcome to this space that feels a bit out of time, a bit out of the world. It's "a bit out of time" because walking for years through mountains, forests, and borders as part of a spiritual practice like pilgrimage connects us more to the present, transforming it into a gift, though it might seem anachronistic in our modern era.
It's "a bit out of the world" because the solitude, silence, and practices of pilgrimage encourage a withdrawal from worldly affairs, yet paradoxically, they anchor us even more deeply in it.
I hope you've arrived here after our paths have crossed, but even if not, you are welcome. This blog was created (by my friends, for me) to share my journey with anyone interested in it.
Of course, as is often the case, the most important, the most beautiful, the most thrilling aspects of this journey are beyond words—they can't truly be expressed or transmitted. But I hold onto the hope that you might find in my writings a glimpse of what drives a man to leave everything behind and walk the world for years, with a Name on his lips.
